At Marquette Catholic High School, our pursuit of academic excellence is reflected in a college preparatory curriculum as comprehensive and rigorous as any high school can offer. With annual SAT and ISTEP scores well above the national and state average, it is no wonder that 100% of our seniors continue their education at the college of their choice.

Mission
Marquette Catholic High School is an educational community that promotes academic excellence rooted in Gospel values and the Catholic faith. We are an institution that values each student as an individual with unique intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs. As such, we are also committed to maintaining and extending a welcoming spirit to students of all religious traditions. Our goal is to challenge our students academically, to deepen their faith, and thus enable them to responsibly serve their families, civic and church communities.

As a means of fulfilling our mission, the entire Marquette community will always seek to maintain focus upon these Core Values of Faith, Honesty, Leadership, Respect and Service.

Accreditation
Marquette is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education.

Enrollment
161 Students (62 male & 99 females) in grades 9 through 12 from LaPorte County and other surrounding communities, make up Marquette’s student body. Students attended approximately 9 partner schools before entering Marquette Catholic High School.

Faculty
15 Faculty members have an average of over 20 years of teaching experience. With a student-teacher ratio of 10:1; a highly personalized approach to learning is maintained.

Academics
There are 10 academic departments providing more than 60 course offerings. 3 Instructional levels are offered:  Academic Honors, College Preparatory and Indiana Core 40.

College Selection
100% of the students from the Class of 2008 matriculated in colleges and universities.

Grading Scale
The grade point average is computed by dividing the total grade points each semester by the number of classes taken which carry grade points. Courses not taken at Marquette Catholic High School are not included in this computation. Honors courses, which are significantly more demanding, are weighted.
