MARQUETTE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL’S CLASS OF 2009 AWARDED OVER $2.2 MILLION

Michigan City, Indiana – June 3, 2009 – Marquette Catholic High School’s Principal, Mr. Jim White announced today that the 2009 graduating class of Marquette Catholic High School, that consists of forty-four students, has been awarded over $2.2 million in community and college scholarships. That is an average of over $50,000 per student.

Mr. White states, “This is a true testament of our students’ hard work and dedication to their education and their future. This speaks volumes with regard to the support they receive from their parents and their investment in their child’s education. The Class of 2009 is a phenomenal group of young adults that will go on and do great things.”
