Eighth graders seeking admission into Marquette Catholic High School must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This is a standardized test that we use to assess baseline academic performance. Exam sections include: verbal skills, cognitive skills, reading comprehension, math concepts, math problem solving and language - grammar skills.

Due to the dramatically increasing interest in MQTT as the number one choice in private, Catholic education in the area, we are anticipating a very large number of students testing on December 2nd. Please register early to ensure your seat.

Exam Details:

Arrive to the Richard & Louise Scholl Student Center around 7:50 a.m. (10th Street doors).

Test begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Test concludes at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The exam fee must be paid online prior to the exam date.

If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at 219.873.1325.

Important Dates

In everything we do, we believe in challenging the traditional way of educating our students. We believe in thinking critically and inspiring them to do the same. We do this by encouraging them to be driven, to be global, to be passionate, to be connected, to find faith, to discover God and to work for the Common Good. We ask our students to embrace high expectations, to become exceptional and, ultimately, change the world.  #moreatMQTT
