Marquette Catholic High School currently has three (3) openings.
General Studies Teacher (Start date: Aug. 1, 2025)
We are currently seeking a full-time general studies teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Interested candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, a desire to teach in a faith-based environment, and an Indiana teaching license - or the ability to obtain one. A master's degree and teaching experience is preferred.
Resident Dean (Start date: Aug. 1, 2025)
Marquette Catholic High School is seeking a committed, dynamic, and student-centered individual to serve as a Resident Dean. This leadership role is vital in fostering a positive and structured residential life environment that aligns with the school’s Catholic mission to foster academic excellence, moral integrity, and spiritual growth. The Resident Dean is responsible for supervising, caring for, and mentoring residential students, enforcing residential life policies, and promoting a safe, supportive, and respectful community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct supervision, care, support, and leadership to residential students, including oversight of evening and some
weekend activities.
• Enforce and uphold school and dormitory rules, expectations, and disciplinary policies fairly and consistently.
• Act as a liaison between residential students, faculty, staff, and administration to ensure strong communication and
coordination.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and trusted adult presence for residential students.
• Coordinate and participate in dormitory meetings, student check-ins, and residential programming.
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance, incident reports, and behavioral documentation.
• Collaborate with other staff to organize student activities, events, and community-building initiatives.
• Support the physical, emotional, and academic well-being of students in the residence hall.
• Be available for on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including nights and weekends.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, conflicts, and safety concerns in the dormitory.
• Participate in staff development programs and contribute to continuous improvement of the residential life program.
• Serve as the property manager for the residential facility.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in residential life, student affairs, education, or youth development strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills with a nurturing demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to work with adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a thorough background check.
Additional Information:
• This is a live-in position; the Resident Dean is provided with private on-campus quarters.
• Meals during the school year are provided,
• Position is Monday-Friday and must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

Residential Program Cook (Start date: Aug. 1, 2025)
Marquette Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and reliable cook to join our Residential Life Program. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving dinner for residential students Monday through
Friday, planning weekly menus, and managing grocery shopping to support healthy, balanced meals. This is a vital
role in fostering a welcoming and nourishing environment for our residential students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve dinner for residential students Monday through Friday.
• Develop weekly meal plans that are nutritious, cost-effective, and appealing to high school students.
• Shop for groceries and supplies within a designated budget.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with Residential Life staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
Qualifications:
• Previous cooking experience, preferably in a residential or institutional setting.
• Ability to plan meals and manage a grocery budget.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Must pass background check and meet school safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with high school-aged students.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday evenings.
• Additional hours for menu planning and grocery shopping as needed.
