High School Placement Test (HSPT)


December 5, 2026 at 8:00am
306 W. 10th Street, Michigan City

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a standardized, timed, multiple-choice entrance exam taken by 8th graders for admission to MQT and placement in courses. Registration opens November 1, 2026.

 

Enrollment Applications Due

Enrollment applications for MQT31 will become available December 1, 2026, by clicking here. Please know that you will be asked to upload your most recent 8th grade report card and your most recent state standardized test score report. If you do not have them, you will need to request them from your current school.

 

Decison Letters Mailed


February 1, 2027

The admission committee thoughtfully reviews each enrollment application and sends out decision letters to each student.

 

Registration and Course Selection


March 1, 2027
333 W. 10th Street, Michigan City

Registration and course selection appointments are the week of March 1st. Families will receive an appointment time to meet with their academic advisor and tuition manager.
